Echoes of Giving
We’re celebrating the 7th annual Echoes of Giving holiday campaign in 2024!
Amazing Grace Charities’s annual Echoes of Giving campaign works to help make the holidays extra special for individuals, families and 400+ children, many of whom are in low-income housing in the Houston area.
Thanks to generous donations, we continue to achieve our goal every year of ensuring each child receives at least three holiday gifts and entire families are adopted to meet needs beyond toys.
Monetary gifts needed
Our annual fundraising goal is $5,000. This allows us to use your donation where it is most needed, helps us fill in the gaps for the current year’s campaign and apply any unused funds toward next year’s preparations. We request all monetary gifts are made by Dec. 16.

Amazing Ambassadors
Our charity and campaign cannot function properly without motivated volunteers. Our amazing ambassadors assist Echoes of Giving efforts by helping collect items from family, friends and colleagues by Dec. 6!
These items are new, unwrapped holiday gifts for children aged 3 months to 14 years. Highly requested items include:
- art sets and activity craftingv
- dolls
- Frozen themed items
- dinosaurs
- cars
- bluetooth earbuds
- hoodies
- and make up.
Of course, donors always are welcome to visit AGC Boutique and shop the children’s section for gifts!
Collecting items
Amazing ambassadors keep a list of each donor’s first/last name during the collection period. When you’re done, call/text 713.502.4106 to arrange a transfer to AGC. Donated items and donor list can be:
- picked up from you at agreed scheduled time
- or dropped off at AGC Boutique at agreed scheduled time.
Deadline to get donated items and donor list to Amazing Grace Charities is Dec. 6.

Campaign timeline
Nov. 1: Echoes of Giving begins
Fundraising begins and are used immediately to help families in need. Beds, washing machines, diapers, car seats, pet food, personal hygiene products, and so much more. These items are new and therefore these items are not usually something we have on hand. Your monetary donations are hard at work!
Deliveries occur weekly and some recipients have waited months for these necessities. We also gift holiday cheer where we can! In the past, we’ve delivered holiday decorations, Thanksgiving turkeys, and toys during these weeks.
Dec. 6: “last call” for new, unwrapped gifts
This allows us to take a final inventory and use your monetary donations to fill in any gaps.
Dec. 6, evening: Official kick-off event
Amazing Grace Charities volunteers are joined by Santa as they walk through the Village Green Mobile Home Park in Southwest Houston, gifting new, unwrapped stocking stuffers to 400+ children ages infant to 15 years.
The campaign continues with weekly deliveries throughout our community.
Dec. 16: Fundraising ends / Wrap up party
Santa returns to Village Green Mobile Home Park to deliver new, unwrapped gifts to the children. It’s truly a blessing to witness the joy and happiness from the children and families during this heartwarming event.
